The purpose of this essay is to outline the Catholic Political Platform. This will be demonstrated through Catholic Social Teaching. Unfortunately, many Catholics are unaware of catholic social teaching. This is proclaimed by the United States Catholic Bishops in 1998 when the bishops said, “Our heritage is unknown by many Catholics. Sadly our social doctrine is not shared or taught in a consistent and comprehensive way in too many of our schools, seminaries, religious education programs, colleges, and universities.” This point is made even more clear in the Compendium of the Social Doctrine of the Church in 2004 when it states, “above all, it is indispensable that they have a more exact knowledge of the Church’s social doctrine. This doctrinal patrimony is neither taught nor known sufficiently, which is part of the reason for its failure to be suitably reflected in concrete behavior.”
The book “The Brothers Karamazov” is a deep psychological and philosophical novel. There are many important themes in this book, including faith and doubt, free-will, moral responsibility, justice, and redemption through suffering. However, only one theme really affected me, the theme of how we ought to deal with our emotions.
The purpose of this article is to outline the top five qualities of Howard Schultz, one of 2013’s most accomplished entrepreneurs (Hendricks 2013 ). Through this article, aspiring entrepreneurs will be able to know what they need to work on in order to better their chances of becoming a successful entrepreneur. The first of these five qualities is Leadership. It is essential, as an entrepreneur, to be able to lead those who are under you in order to get tasks accomplished. The second quality is communication, an entrepreneur needs to be able to communicate with others exactly what it is that they want accomplished. The third quality is decision-making; a successful entrepreneur will use this skill every day. One of the most important skills an entrepreneur will need to have in order to be successful is perseverance. Without this skill, it is impossible to be a successful entrepreneur. Lastly, another critical skill is the ability to prioritize and delegate tasks. This examination of Howard Schultz will show how the skills of leadership, communication, decision-making, perseverance, and prioritization are essential to becoming a successful entrepreneur.
There are two different ways that something can be self-evident. The first type of self-evidence is that which you cannot deny its existence. An example of this is that it is self-evident that you are reading this paper right now. The second type of self-evidence is that it is evident to itself but not to those around it. Knowledge of God’s existence is not self-evident in the first sense. God’s existence is, however, self-evident to Himself but not completely to us. Thomas Aquinas says that we understand God’s existence naturally in a weak and confused way, and that we can only properly understand if it is proved through reason and demonstration.
